Dripped over homemade tartines, our ooey-goey hot fudge and caramel sauce work wonders to bring new flavor to your morning toast. We prefer ours smeared with ricotta and topped with fresh raspberries.
1 baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch thick rounds
1 1/2 cups fresh mixed berries (e.g., strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
1 cup whole milk ricotta cheese
1/4 cup Coop's hot fudge sauce (and / or)
1/4 cup Coop's caramel sauce
Fresh mint leaves (for garnish, optional)
1. Toast the Baguette Slices:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Arrange the baguette rounds on a baking sheet and toast them in the oven for about 5-7 minutes or until they're lightly golden and crisp. Remove and let them cool.
2. Prepare the Ricotta Spread:
In a bowl, mix the whole milk ricotta cheese until it's smooth and creamy. You can add a touch of honey or a sprinkle of powdered sugar for a slightly sweetened ricotta, if desired.
3. Assemble the Tartines:
Take a toasted baguette slice and spread a generous layer of the prepared ricotta cheese on top.
Arrange a handful of fresh mixed berries on top of the ricotta, creating a colorful and flavorful layer.
4. Drizzle with Coop's hot fudge and/or caramel sauce:
Drizzle hot fudge sauce and caramel sauce over the ricotta and berry-topped baguette slices.
If desired, add a few fresh mint leaves on top for a refreshing touch and a pop of color.
Serve your ricotta tartines with berries and hot fudge caramel drizzle immediately. The combination of creamy ricotta, fresh berries, and the decadent chocolate and caramel sauces on the crispy baguette creates a delightful and visually appealing treat.
